We are in Colorado Springs right now, visiting family and friends.
Yesterday there was an accident and Beatrix, our dog, died. I don't really want to go into many details about the accident, it was very unpleasant to see. Beatrix died right in front of me. I'm just glad that none of the little ones saw Beatrix all beat up.
Uncle Earl said we could come and bury her at his property. The place where we buried her was a really nice place. There is a pond, pine trees, and lots of flowers.
Dad and I lowered her in the grave
We put rocks around the grave...an Apache tradition.
The grave....Uncle Earl said he's make a header for her
Please pray for the family....Beatrix was 18 or 19 and we owned her for 15 years. We got her from the pound.

Sorry to hear that! We'll keep your family in our prayers. How did you like Colorado Springs? Whenever our family is visiting there we go to Garden of the Gods.
Thanks.
We enjoyed it...we went to Garden of the Gods last year, that's pretty neat.
